Pay Starts at $14.50 /hr (ask about special duty pay at $19.38/hr for Ambulance)
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:
The Wheelchair Transportation Specialist provides safe, efficient and courteous transportation services to disabled patients on a scheduled basis. Specialists must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving history. Specialists must also attend special training and pass an exam for the safe operation of the assigned vehicle, are certified in first aid and CPR and must pass a DOT physical examination.
Candidate may also be trained to drive an ambulance and will obtain a SCDHEC Driver Card prior to this.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent
21 years of age
3-5 years Driving Experience
CPR and First Aid Certification
Excellent verbal and writing skills (English)
