Nurse Practitioner

The Charleston Thyroid Center is currently seeking a motivated and energetic advanced practitioner (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for our thriving practice in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. We are a thyroid-specific medical practice that provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art, conventional and integrative care for thyroid hormone replacement, thyroid ultrasound and biopsy, treatment of thyroid nodules and cancer, thyroid-specific weight loss, and advanced non-invasive techniques. This is a full-time position. There are no evenings and no call, but providers are asked to check patient messages on the weekends once every 3-4 weeks. You will see 15-20 patients per day.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· See new and established patients, while maintaining a strong patient base.

· Willing to learn thyroid care from a top thyroid specialist. Dr. Henderson will train the advanced practitioner in all aspects of thyroid care (there will be an initial paid shadowing experience prior to seeing patients).

· Assist with patient messages, prescriptions, orders, and phone calls.

· Provide consistently excellent service and compassionate care to our patients and develop strong relationships with our referring healthcare providers and local community.

Compensation: base salary commensurate with experience plus incentive pay based on productivity

Qualifications:

· Graduate from an accredited U.S. program

· Hold a current, valid, and unrestricted medical & DEA license

· Free of disciplinary actions

· EMR experience necessary

· Phlebotomy skills and intramuscular injection experience helpful
