Commercial Development Analyst

About the Role

The Commercial Development Analyst role is a key position that will directly influence Charlie Health's revenue growth as we expand across the country. This person will be a founding member of the Commercial team at Charlie and will work with the team's leadership to build and run an industry leading payer contracting function. The focus of the role will be on developing relationships and efficiently executing contracts with payers of all sizes to support Charlie's national expansion. This position will also collaborate extensively internally to ensure that Charlie's teams are well informed on the operational details of our payer relationships. Responsibilities

• Source contacts and develop relationships at payers in Charlie's expansion states
• Relentlessly drive communications with payers to efficiently increase contracting throughput
• Collaborate closely with other internal teams (RCM, UR, finance, legal, etc.) to ensure that contract information is disseminated in a timely and accurate manner
• Contribute to the development of team processes, workflows, and tools
• Assist with growing the Commercial team over time to meet the needs of Charlie Health

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience
• Prior contracting or business development experience
• Consulting, investment banking, or similarly analytical experience a plus
• Healthcare experience a plus
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, listening and relationship-building skills
• Microsoft Office proficiency—Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Resourceful with a natural ability to problem solve
• Proactive self-started and natural multitasker
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Must be currently located in or willing to relocate to NYC
