OVERVIEW
At Camp Prep, we strive to bring out the best in children. We offer an engaging and rewarding program that builds confidence, creates friendships and develops skills that can be taken outside of the camp. Our team of dedicated Counselors reflects the quality of this program in their diverse skills and backgrounds, leadership, maturity and enthusiasm. As a Counselor, you are expected to lead by example by being respectful, mature, compassionate, fun, and enthusiastic with all campers and staff. You are expected to participate in the activities to the extent that you are demonstrating or helping campers. You will help the campers to build self-confidence by allowing them to develop their skills and explore their potential.
This is a full-time or part-time, summer position of an average 40 hours/five days per week (full day, Monday through Friday) or 20 hours/five days per week (half-day, Monday through Friday). Flexible scheduling is required to maintain camp coverage throughout the camp day (8:00 am to 5:00 pm) to properly supervise campers or in the absence of another camp staff member.
SUPERVISION
Reports directly to the Director of Summer Camps.
