Shipping Associate

Position Summary:

The Shipping Associate will be reliable and demonstrate basic skills to perform routine tasks. The Associate will work with Supply Chain Management to execute shipping goals and needs. This person must be self-motivated, hard-working, and excited about the mission behind Charlotte’s Web.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cross train in all shipping areas, under direction of lead and supervisor
• Complete certified training within the 5 core shipping functions in a timely manner
• Provide cross-functional in all shipping areas while meeting supervisor defined metrics of success
• Basic NAV Function
• Motivated and excited to train others in assigned certified trainer function, as directed by the shipping leadership team
• Provide open and honest feedback to the team and leadership in a professional manner
• Effectively communicate and take a proactive problem-solving approach with any issues that come up
• Treat others with dignity and respect and maintain an environment where everyone shares ideas and issues
• Report any issues or equipment malfunctions to management in a timely manner
• Excited to drive and contribute to continuous improvement projects in various shipping processes
• Showcase conduct aligned with a respectful work environment to both peers and supervisors
• Communicate effectively to ensure effective working relationships with peers and supervisors
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
• Champion a culture of safety
• Prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment preferred
• 1 years’ experience working with a warehouse management system preferred
• Experience working with an ERP System preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent collaboration and professionalism
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills,
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to pick up and lift up objects, sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, and twist. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Compensation:

$20.00 - $21.00 hourly
