Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth cost analysis to identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements in the manufacturing processes
- Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategies.
- Monitor and analyze variances between budgeted and actual costs, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Calculate and analyze the cost of goods sold (COGS) for various products, helping in pricing decisions and profitability analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
- Track and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and communicate business performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns, enabling data-driven decision-making
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is a must.
- A CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis required; 5 years preferred; prior experience in a manufacturing environment is also preferred.
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel, including proficiency with Power Pivot and Power Query.
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS systems is a plus.
