POSITION PURPOSE/MISSION: Deliver bars to machines based on work orders. Pull stock items for sales orders. Re-bundle material as needed. Transport bar stock to storage using forklift or hubtex. Load and unload trucks. Perform other general warehouse duties. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Frequent foot use, lifting up to 50 lbs, hand use, sitting, and standing. Occasional carrying, climbing, lifting up to 75 lbs, pushing/pulling, reaching, below waist level work, complex neck/spinal motion, and walking. Minimal lifting up to 95 lbs. Ability to meet the physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation, as provided in detail in the Job Analysis Database. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED equivalent (GEDWorks program eligible). Ability to read and understand instructions. Ability to perform, read, and interpret measurements. Basic knowledge of computer and data entry. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Six months plus experience in warehouse related field experience. ISO experience or training. Ability to operate a forklift truck or hubtex. Basic data entry skills. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: Learn basic skills necessary for data entry into computer. Load and unload truck using forklifts. Inventory control tasks such as safe stacking of bars. Stage bars for shipment via data entry. Receive products into inventory and distribute to various departments. Promote teamwork and provide quality customer service. Follow all safety protocol and use appropriate safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE). Follow Environmental, Quality and Safety Management System procedures and requirements. Ability to meet the essential job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation, as outlined in the job description.
