QA Database Architect & PI Support

Summary: Performs administrative duties and provides support for members of the CCHP Quality & Performance Improvement Team with routine travel to both hospitals (RWMC & OLF) along with close attention to details at a high-level performance. Provide database management and the ability to build reports as required for a wide array of data used by the Quality and Performance Improvement department. Proficient with computer technology including design databases in Access, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint as needed to support the developing data needs of the department and programs. Able to perform detail and process oriented with a focus on efficiency. Ability to work independently and with a team. This position reports directly to the Systems Director of Quality & Performance Improvement.

Education: Associate Degree or equivalent experience.

License: Valid Driver’s License required

Experience: Minimum of three years of relevant experience. Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and various other computer programs. Ability to formulate graphs and develop data programs.

Skills & Abilities: Proficient in use of Access, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Word. Organized and able to multitask different assignments. Develop customized database and spreadsheets. Able to create systems to assure validity of data reports and dashboards. Possess the ability to type, phone skills, maintain and scribe meeting minutes, and coordinated calendar invites. Able to evaluate and problem-solve within the scope of the position and any other duties assigned

Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements: Generally pleasant working environment with little or no distractions or exposure to unpleasant or hazardous elements. Meets all safety training requirements associated with the Medical Center. Must have finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination for performance of computer related duties. May be required to lift or move objects weighing no greater than 50 pounds, for general packing and purging of records.

Interrelationships: This position must possess good interpersonal skills and have the ability to work with varying groups throughout CCHP to address concerns.
