Assembly Production

Seeking, entry level candidates who are seeking assembly roles.

Job Duties

• Visually inspect parts for a proper finish
• Adjust, feed, and replace wheels as necessary
• Change over equipment for production runs
• Replace and change wheels based on part configuration
• Maintain compound flow at polishing guns, and adjust the spray pattern to ensure proper finish
• Clean and clear all compound gun problems
• Operate Automatic polishing machine by loading parts on the fixture, unloading parts
• Clean machine at the end of shift
• Notify supervisor of operational issues
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Prepare production reports as required
• Keep area clear of congestion
• Move parts from setdown area to racking station
• Move plated parts from unracking area to proper setdown area
• Position parts on a rack to ensure proper contact
• Monitor racks for failure and notify the lead or supervisor
• Release racks to the main conveyor line
• Assist with falling racks
• Sweep floor, clean build-up off racks, and departmental cleanup
• Assist with clean plating tanks
• Remove, stack, and return empty containers to the proper setdown area

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• three mo to 1-year experience
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Ability to perform shop math
• Ability to read blueprints

Pay: $15.00 - $16.90 per hour
