- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge in the following key areas: Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Hardware Benchmarking (program management, network management), Design (compliance, security), Network Engineering (planning, provision)
- Advanced understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design, performance and monitoring, best practices, and
Proficient in multiple infrastructure technologies
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch, and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget
- Ability to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
- Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
- 5 years of experience in Proxy(Symantec Bluecoat), Load Balancing(F5) and Firewall(Checkpoint, Palo Alto, or Fortinet) technologies
- 5 years of technical development and network design experience within a large enterprise environment
- 3 years of experience in various routing technologies (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS)
- 3 years of related experience with Cisco products (routing/switching-Nexus Series, Catalyst, etc.) or relevant experience in key competitor offerings (i.e. Arista)
- 3 years of experience in low latency technologies preferred (Nexus, Arista, Voltaire, etc)
- 3 years of experience in SDN/overlay networks (Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, MP-BGP EVPN, Cumulus)
- Proficient in one programming language (ex. Python) and automation framework (Ansible, Terraform)
