Beautiful Waterfront Hotel located on Chautauqua Lake has an immediate opening for an Assistant Banquet Operations Manager to join our great hospitality team!! We are looking for someone to enable an environment that’s engaging, where motivated people want to join, learn, and do their best to give our guests the best experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Banquet Operations Manager and Catering Manager to ensure all details of banquet function are clear.
  • Supervise and assist in set up and break down of events.
  • Coordinate function details with banquet and kitchen staff
  • Schedule Banquet Porters to ensure event spaces are set to event layouts
  • Train new hires to Chautauqua Harbor Hotel standards for serving and bartending
  • Attend weekly banquet meetings
  • Oversee proper serving, clearing and cleanup of functions
  • Daily supervision of banquet staff
  • Oversee function bars, inventory, usage and tips

Skills

  • Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience
  • Hands-on experience in cashier duties
  • Attention to cleanliness and safety
  • Patience and customer-oriented approach
  • Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
  • Responsible and trustworthy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $56,640.00 per year
