We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive customer service experience and a proven sales track record. The candidate must also be capable of working in a fast-paced and busy environment, juggle multiple projects and deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner.
- Assist customers with questions about pricing, products, and other common questions.
- Use basic math skills necessary for work.
- Display and maintain positive interaction with colleagues, managers, and customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and orderly appearance of the store and register area.
- Maintain supplies such as receipt paper, pens, and other common items at the checkout counter or cash register.
- Be able to accurately scan barcodes and information of each item purchased.
- Transfer cash or checks to customers in exchange for merchandise or service provided.
