What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse PT position at CHD Brand?
Provide direct nursing services in our co-occurring enhanced substance abuse treatment program which serves teenage boys between 13-17 years of age boys . The program nurse will assist the program with Health Assessments, obtaining medical documents/information that pertains to the adults and will provide direct services to the clients. He/She will provide education for the residents in the form of groups. He/she will also manage medications, doctor's orders, and medical paperwork. The program nurse will work closely with the program staff, doctor's offices, families, and area pharmacies.
Job Description:
- Must have two years resent experience providing direct care in a nursing capacity for kids, teens.
- Process the skills and knowledge to perform the duties consistent with the adult day health requirements and regulations.
- The ability to assess health issues.
- The ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
- Knowledge regarding health and nutrition.
- The ability to provide direct care.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Registered Nursing License through The Board of Registration in Massachusetts.
- A valid driver’s license and safe driver’s record, as well as a clean and clear criminal history is mandated.
