Job Description

COMC is looking to hire an Assurance and Inventory Management Associate at our Algona, WA location. This person will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s inventory and consigned items. This person will play a vital role in identifying discrepancies, verifying stock levels, and implementing corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy. The A.I.M Associate is an individual contributor reporting to the Assurance and Inventory Management Captain.

The ideal candidate would be A highly organized, detail-oriented individual, with a background in inventory management and auditing processes, who would like to help improve efficiency in a variety of processes and tasks.


Job Responsibilities

  • Communicates with other departments to resolve any issues with orders or inventory
  • Works with team to ensure all customer orders ar processed and shipped within our SLA’s
  • Conducts regular audits of inventory records, systems, and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Identifies and evaluates areas for process improvement, making recommendations for enhancing inventory management practices.
  • Investigates and resolves inventory discrepancies, providing recommendations for corrective action as needed.
  • Maintains accurate documentation of all inventory audit findings, results and recommendations for follow-up.
  • Assists in development and implementation of new inventory management processes and procedures.
  • Ensures inventory is secure, accurate, and organized.
  • Provides regular reports to management on inventory audit results, warehouse storage capacity and trends.
  • Physically stores and relocates consigned inventory onto storage units and accurately assigns incoming consigned inventory into our internal proprietary system.
  • Operates a pallet jack to safely move and stack pallets of merchandise, supplies and materials within the warehouse or storage facility.
  • Consolidates inventory to free up warehouse storage space.
  • Performs re-imaging of consignments.
  • Uphold COMC values, quality standards, and exemplify C.A.R.D. culture.
  • Be a willing and collaborative partner to support all areas of the organization.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and its applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)


Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with or interested in learning about the trading card industry
  • Knowledgeable about professional sporting industry (NBA, NFL, MLB, including Hockey and Soccer etc.)
  • Knowledge in the non-sports card industry (Marvel, Entertainment, Trading Card Games, Pop Culture)

This position requires the ability to work with standard computer equipment such as keyboards, monitors, personal computers, and scanners. This position requires the ability to maintain delicate computer instruments with regular care as instructed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit or stand for extended periods. The employee is sometimes required to stand, walk, bend, and reach with hands and arms for short to long periods of time; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; talk and hear. The position requires the ability to work with fingers to pick, pinch, and carry out substantial movements of the wrist and hands to perform tasks of delicate manual dexterity, handling small, fragile inventory with great precision and care. The position requires the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and must be available for a Pallet Jack/Electric Jack training course.
