PM Production Supervisor
Job Posting for PM Production Supervisor at Chelsea Building Products
Position Summary:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for all facets of production operations.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including working weekends on a bi-weekly basis
Primary Responsibilities:
- Follow and enforce all established company and safety policies: Housekeeping
- Execute production schedule and direct employees on production items
- Verify production documents are filled out correctly: Process Controls, Material Quality Audit sheets, Supervisors Sheet, Line Status Board
- Review daily production report and other reports as required
- Supervise setup and process of assigned production lines
- Responsible for performance of assigned production lines
- Ensure that machinery and equipment is performing at capacity and within established metrics for assigned production lines
- Support Kaizen implementation
- Take initiative to identify and recommend changed in planning and production to improve efficiencies and throughout
- Identify individual training needs and provide training to employees
- Employee time reporting in ADP
- Evaluated and review critical quality notices
- Responsible for employee evaluations and reviews
- Responsible for employee disciplinary counseling
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in a fast-paced production environment
- 3-4 years leading department
- Knowledge in plastic extrusion machines and troubleshooting is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to complete tasks independently, to set priorities, communicate with employees and use time effectively
Educational Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent work experience
