Established in 1984, Chelsea Garden Center is seeking a Web Developer / Webmaster. The successful candidate must be familiar with ADA guidelines, and proficient in Shopify development & back-end usage. In conjunction with our consultant & partners manual ADA audit compliance review reports, you will be working to implement the required ADA upgrades.

Additionally, we are seeking a fresh an updated look to our current Shopify site. Our goal is to partner with a site developer who can redesign aspects of our website, overseeing daily & weekly updates and assume the overall Webmaster role working closely with Chelsea leadership & marketing partners to achieve our goals.

Web Development

· Extensive experience with Shopify platform.

· Technical expertise to update & remediate ADA compliance.

· Implement our consultants & partners manual audit review reports.

· Ability to insert provided partner code changes to reach compliance standards.

· Familiarity with ADA compliance rules & regulation

· Shopify development

Website Management

· Keep the Shopify website updated with the latest products, images, and quantities.

· Ensure a seamless and user-friendly online shopping experience.

· Adding new content to the website on a regular daily & weekly basis.

. Work closely with mangers & leadership to address website coding issues.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Web design: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Brooklyn, NY 11231: Relocate before starting work (Required)
