Chemours is seeking a Master Data Management Intern to join our Data team! This position will report directly to the Data Management Senior Consultant. The Master Data Management intern will work closely with the Data Management Senior Consultant in the implementation project of Profisee - Master Data Management (MDM) application. Profisee will replace existing processes across multiple data domains, improve quality, increase visibility, and require multiple connections to existing Chemours applications within the IT landscape. It is a highly collaborative role with opportunities to present results to all levels of the company, including senior leadership. Location: Statewide (Virtual) Hours: Full-time or part-time schedule, flexible to candidate needs Term: 3 -month assignment between December 2022 - February 2023 The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Support the Data Management Senior Consultant and respective Master data management team members to manage a new application implementation project to replace current processes. Support the implementation of Profisee with hands on development within the application, liaison with the Implementation partner, and participate in testing Help implement data quality rules to simplify the request and update processes Help meet project deliverables and participate in project meetings Help develop training and communications collateral to roll out Profisee to the user community The following is required for this role: Enrollment at an accredited higher education institution Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, Data Science, Analytics, or related field High proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with data governance and data stewardship principles and practices Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels The following is preferred for this role: 3.0 GPA or above Willingness to learn and develop within an application which is new to the company A Continuous improvement mindset Previous Analytics/Data Science experience Knowledge of SAP Experience with Master Data within any ERP or database application Benefits: Competitive Compensation Paid Site Holidays and Paid Day of Service (for full-time internships only) Learning and Development Opportunities Strong Inclusion a Diversity Initiatives WE’RE CHEMOURS.
