Duties:

  • Preparation of NMOCD Form C-138 for waste disposal from operations and plugging and abandonment.
  • Preparation and submission of Return to Production (RTP) notices to the agencies.
  • Request Permission to Perform Work (PPTW) to the Jicarilla Apache Nation Bureau of Indian Affairs.
  • Compiling bradenhead test data then submitting results and tracking follow-up steps as necessary.
  • X5 Reporting System
  • Verifying AVO compliance inspections and confirming action items are completed.
  • Ensuring that combustor preventative maintenance (PM) is scheduled and performed.
  • Coordinating monthly OGI/AVO scheduling to ensure tasks are completed.
  • Preparation of the SARA Title III annual chemical and hazardous substance reporting.
  • Coordinating hazardous/special waste handling and disposal.
  • Submission of NMOCD Form C-129 Flaring Reports as required.
  • Reporting the quarterly volumes from water supply wells to the NM State Engineer's Office.
  • Ensuring SPCC plans are prepared for new sites and that monthly and annual inspections are performed. The job also monitors when existing plans are updated every 5 years.
  • Review monthly the NM Register for new proposed and final rules.
  • Spill reporting and tracking to the state and federal agencies.
  • P&A & Reclamation:
  • Assisting the Construction Team with tracking of site reclamation and researching information.
  • Submit NOI (Notices of Intent) and subsequent sundries for P&A to the state and federal agencies.

Qualifications

Degree not required, but preference will be given to a BS or an AS in business or an upstream oil and gas technology program.

Ability to clearly communicate both verbal and written technical information.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex requests.

Familiarity in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and general knowledge of GIS applications and mapping.
