Position Purpose
Digital is a fundamental element of the CHEP North America strategy. We will use our existing and new digital capabilities and information to power smarter more sustainable supply chain allowing us to Reimage how we work and serve customers, Reshape how we manage our assets and Reinvent our business models allowing greater partnership with customers which solve customer problems
Across Brambles and CHEP North America, our Digital activity is around the three ‘Big Rocks’ of Asset Digitization, Digital Customer Solutions & Advanced Analytics. To ensure CHEP North America is positioned to ensure maximizing the value and customer impact from Digital Transformation, the North American digital organization is organized around these big rocks with three distinct leadership roles. The leaders of the respective “Big Rocks” closely collaborate to ensure a joined-up approach to transformation while each having the specific leadership of their own area.
The leader for Advanced Analytics will play a key role in setting the strategy for the deployment of new analytics solutions within CHEP NA, ensuring focus is paid to the correct areas to support the delivery of the North America strategy. In partnership with members of the Brambles Digital team the Advanced Analytics leader will drive development, testing and deployment of new analytical solutions, maximizing adoption and the delivery of value.
Critical to the success of this newly created role will be their ability to drive collaboration between the Brambles Digital teams and all functions within CHEP North America, ensuring alignment and partnership to maximize business value.
This high-profile role will require an individual that has a blend of strategic, execution-oriented, and consultative skill sets.
Major/Key Accountabilities:
Scope of job responsibilities include:
Analytics Strategy & Engagement Model
- Provide a vision and strategy for the Analytics program and develop an engagement model to support each functional area of the business
- Mature / grow 4-year strategy, roadmap, and pipeline for Advanced Analytics in North America, with a balanced portfolio of tactical quick wins and longer term, transformational initiatives
- Partner with North American Transformation Office to ensure appropriate linkages and dependencies with overall transformational portfolio
- Collaborate across all functional areas to translate complex business problems into optimal data modeling and analytical solutions
Analytics Solution Development
- Lead the improvements and advancement of reporting and analytics capabilities across NA including data visualization and storytelling.
- Partner with global analytics teams and influence the roadmap of Brambles Analytics Hub and development of new solutions.
- Collaborate with the Data Science team to incorporate machine learning, advanced analytics, and GenAI into our insight and decision-making tools
- Identify key infrastructure, process, and capability requirements for execution
Analytics Solution Adoption
- Track and report the value delivery of analytics to the organization
- Drive usage and adoption of analytics tools/solutions working with regional transformational office and change management teams
- Provide consultation to functional leaders on analytics capabilities and recommend analytics solutions to business opportunities
Data Management & Governance
- Apply and leverage global data governance process and frameworks in the region
- Identify and help resolve key data quality and integrity issues on major analytics initiatives
- Facilitate leverage of relevant data sources across digital and data analytics initiatives
- Ensure the appropriate data governance guidance remains up to date and is understood within North America
- Share data analytics best practices within and across regions
Analytics Capability Building
- Lead center of excellence community of Analytics professionals in North America in support of our business strategies and functional area outcomes
- Develop analytics operating model for North America, working with global data & analytics team and functional leaders in the region
- Nurture competency development & career-pathing for data and analytics professionals in North America
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Sciences or in related field
Experience:
- 10 years’ experience in analytics and data management related roles
- 7 years’ experience leading people, including strong leadership and people development skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
- Proven track record in identifying break-through opportunities leveraging data & analytics
- Track-record in shaping the strategic direction and driving execution of data-driven initiatives
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder management and influencing without formal authority
- Experience in fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation in data and analytics
- Experience with successful application of machine learning/AI for step-change in business and operational metrics
Skills:
- Ability to lead and direct a team of analytics SME's across functions
- Ability to nurture analytics individuals on their professional and competency development
- Strong understanding/familiarity with AI, advanced analytics, and visualization techniques/tools
- Ability to think big picture and be execution-oriented
- Ability to influence people and teams at all levels in an organization
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, experience presenting to senior management

Base pay range is $155,000 to $212,000 annually.
