Facilities Maintenance

SUMMARY

Perform general building maintenance and repairs for facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

· Paints interior and exterior of facilities, including striping parking lots.

· Assists in the areas of carpentry, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.

· Assists with preventive maintenance.

· Performs power washing of CNE parking lots.

· Monitors the mechanical and electrical equipment.

· Assists with water softener maintenance.

· Maintains the properties appearance by mowing, weeding, etc.

· Assists during renovations of casino.

· Assists with building environmental monitoring.

· Conducts vendor escorting as needed.

· Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No supervisory/management authority.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 years of directly related experience.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

· Knowledge in the use and care of tools, including corded and cordless power tools.

· Knowledge in operation of one and two-person man lift/scissor lift operation.

· Knowledge of operating heavy equipment.

· Knowledge of electrical Lock Out/Tag Out and Personal Protective Equipment usage.

· Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.

· Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work involves exposure to second-hand smoke, bright lights and loud noise. Requires handling of average weight objects up to 50 lbs. and some standing or walking. Employee will be required to wear proper personal protective equipment and maintain safety procedures at all times. Work may require travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
