Aircraft Helper

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen.
The Mechanic performs inspections, diagnoses, and repairs on various systems and components, receiving guidance from senior technicians. They utilize hand and power tools, following service manuals and instructions to ensure proper maintenance and repair. Compliance with maintenance standards and cleaning of equipment are essential.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Aircraft Helper:
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Aircraft Helper Responsibilities Include:
• Perform inspections on systems structure, gear, controls, power, and electrical/electronic components.
• Diagnose issues with malfunctioning systems and components.
• Repair systems and components as assigned.
• Monitor the performance of various systems.
• Receive technical guidance from team leads and supervisors.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machines for assigned tasks.
• Interpret service and manufacturer maintenance manuals and instructions.
• Follow specific requirements for Ordnance maintenance.
• Clean aircraft parts and assemblies using appropriate solutions.
• Undertake other assigned job-related duties based on skillsets.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Aircraft Helper Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of common hand tools.
• Ensure accurate and thorough inspection, diagnosis, and repair of systems and components.
• Adhere to technical guidance from team leads and supervisors.
• Maintain compliance with Ordnance maintenance requirements and cleaning standards.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
