Physician Recruiter
Oversees and coordinates all aspects of the recruiting process, including advertising, applicant correspondence, and communication with hiring authorities, and other items as necessary or assigned.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Estimated Starting Salary Range for Physician Recruiter: $80,000 - $120,000
- Pay commensurate with experience.
- Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Physician Recruiter Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinates recruiting efforts, including but not limited to advertising, , partnerships, correspondence with applicants.
- Maintains relationships with organizational marketing as related to recruiting.
- Partners with recruiting marketing for various recruiting tools.
- Extends offers of employment; explains credentialing/privileging process, negotiates base wages in accordance with contract bill rates.
- Maintains a working knowledge of the company’s total compensation package to share with prospective applicants, existing employees, and other stakeholders as needed
- Works independently to prioritize tasks specific to each contracts needs.
- Receives and reviews the applications and maintains the ATS daily.
- Complete and submit required fill rate reports for our current contracts as required for each position providing recruiting efforts and explanations for any vacancies.
- Coordinates when necessary, in processing for new employees arranging day, time, location, map, and other documents necessary to be allowed to start work once approved.
- Maintains and recommends modifications to company recruiting and credentialing practices as necessary.
- Trains new employees in procedures, recruiting, contracting, and other areas as needed.
- Analyzes each statement of work to ensure that recruiting efforts are aligned to contractual requirements.
- Maintains a working knowledge of current trends as related to recruiting, credentialing, regulations, and industry.
- Researches various geographic markets to identify recruiting and staffing trends; makes strategic staffing recommendations as needed based on findings.
- Conducts preliminary screening interviews for all positions.
- Responsible for the administration of job postings and employment ads.
- Posts and maintains job postings on company website.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Physician Recruiter Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years experience recruiting all levels of healthcare professionals.
- Experience recruiting for federal contracts is desired.
- Previous experience in healthcare recruitment or physician recruiting.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Proven track record of successful physician placements.
- Experience with healthcare compliance and credentialing processes.
- Familiarity with medical specialties and healthcare industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and databases.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to changing recruitment needs and strategies.
- Ability to conduct detailed candidate screenings and assessments.
- Past applicable job experience may include, but is not limited to: Medical Recruiter, Healthcare Recruiter, or Clinical Recruiter.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
