What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stock/Bus Person position at Cherokee Nation Businesses?
SUMMARY
The Buffet Stock/Bus Person is responsible for removing soiled chinaware, glassware, and flatware from the tables and make sure they are ready for the next guest. Make sure the drink stations are stocked.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):
- Remove dishes from tables.
- Set-up tables and get them guest ready.
- Stock the back of house.
- Take out trash.
- Take dirty dishes to the dish room.
- Keep back of house clean.
- Fill drink stations.
- Sweep, mop, and take out trash and linen bags when full.
- Stock condiments.
- Fold napkins.
- Duties may differ by work location.
- Performs other job duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
This position has no direct reports.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Requires a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Maintain a positive professional working relationship with management and co-workers.
- Provide professional, friendly customer service.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a food handler’s card from the Cherokee Nation.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and balancing. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Frequent exposure to extreme cold, extreme heat, moisture, smoke, and toxic/caustic chemicals.
