Doula sought for Cherry Hill Women's Center, a state licensed ambulatory surgical center that has delivered excellence in abortion and reproductive healthcare for over 45 years, always at the forefront of best practices in our field.
Our team members are committed to advocating and caring for people seeking legal, safe, compassionate and respectful abortion care, in addition to assistance for adoption services and prenatal care.
Responsibilities include :
Provide doula support to 5-15 patients daily pre-procedure
Provide support intra and post-procedure as needed
Adhere to all relevant protocols, policies and procedures
Our team welcomes empathetic, committed, experienced doulas with a strong work ethic, sense of humor and a desire to be a part of a team.
The ideal Doula candidate must possess :
2 years as a birth and / or full spectrum doula
Strong communication skills
Excellent patient care skills
Ability to lift 75 pounds unassisted
Holds high standards and a commitment to CHWC's mission and core values, including a commitment to the full range of abortion care services
Experience in supporting patients with abortion, fetal anomaly, and / or pregnancy loss highly desirable
Spanish, French, Creole, Hindi, or other additional languages are a plus
