**This role can be primarily work-from home, but will need to work in our Madison office periodically as well as travel to practice locations, therefore candidates should be within a reasonable distance of Madison, WI.**
Cherry Tree Dental, based in Madison, WI, is currently seeking a Revenue Manager. The Revenue Manager is responsible for negotiating and optimizing insurance contracts and shortening Day Sales Outstanding (DSO) for all Cherry Tree Dental. The Revenue Manager identifies, evaluates, develops, and implements systems and procedures to facilitate increased efficiency of the billing and collection process. The Revenue Manager will educate frontline teams on procedures and processes to ensure consistency across Cherry Tree Dental offices. In addition, the Revenue Manager will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and monitoring discount plans.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze data and create optimized processes for clean and timely claim filing.
- Develop objectives and action plans to shorten Day Sales Outstanding (DSO) and implement through collaboration with operations.
- Collaborate with operations to optimize staff performance through education, standard operating procedure design and implementation, communication, and internal controls.
- Assess and monitor the day-to-day revenue cycle activities to ensure consistent collection processes and limit aging receivables.
- Coordinate compliance with clinical cash collection procedures, including cash controls, timely adjustments, and batch closing.
- Maintain documentation for all revenue cycle procedures and processes.
- Lead negotiation and optimization of insurance contracts.
- Maintain accurate credentialing of providers with dental insurance companies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or related field
- Education and relative work experience can be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree
- Five years of clinical or business office leadership experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficient in navigating electronic dental or medical records and with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Extensive insurance knowledge
- Proficient with dental terminology
- Ability to work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Foster a positive attitude and be a team player
