We are looking for a bookkeeper with account receivable, account payable, general ledger and financial statement preparation experience in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be well organized and comfortable dealing with financial data. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll and conducting other tasks related to finance. They should be excellent at recording data and have an ability to product clear financial reports.
Responsibilities
- Create, approve and post invoices for the completed orders. Ensure completeness on a weekly basis.
- Accurately record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
- Actively communicate with the sales team for any discrepancies.
- Research discrepancies and maintain an off-system transactions log for unmatched payments and problem transactions; proactively resolve issues.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to reconcile accounts receivable balance for on-site auctions on a bi-weekly basis.
- Reconcile balance due from online sales platforms on a monthly basis.
- Reconcile cash receipt balances with bank transactions.
- Assists general accounting staff in reconciling revenue accounts each month.
- Create reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested.
- Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 1 years of experience in related field
- Proficient in Google suite and ERP
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Salary: $21 - $23 per hour
