Summary:

Oversees the daily operations of the Commercial/Consumer Loan Doc Prep team to ensure the proper management of the bank’s assets.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the personnel of the Commercial Consumer Loan Doc Prep area to ensure proper daily adherence to practices, aides in development plans for each direct report.
• Supervises the daily operations of the Collateral securitization for commercial and consumer loans
• Reviews, recommends and implements new procedures and systems to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Completes daily department functions in the absence of team members
• Attends trainings, Communicates and is responsible for training staff members regarding  new developments and ideas which affect credit and collateral, risk management, compliance and commercial consumer loan doc prep.
• Manages pipeline of work/assigning tasks
• Updates internal procedures as needed
• Institutes proper checks and balances within the department to ensure:
• Proper preparation of documents and input into the Loan Origination system
• Adherence to compliance changes affecting loan production
• Appropriate Implementation of New Loan Products in relationship to parameter set-up in the Loan Origination and Document Prep systems
• Understand your role as defined by the three lines of defense to maintain a compliance culture that includes risk management processes

Requirements

• Business Degree
• Five to six years’ experience in banking
• Strong managerial, communication and public relations skills
• Knowledge of financial institution’s policies and procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate, educate and influence team members to support
• Corporate goals and policy changes
• Knowledge of Commercial/Consumer Loan Origination software and its integration to the core system
