KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION - MARYLAND
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team and drive business growth in Montgomery County. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts within the county to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Build strong relationships with key decision makers within assigned accounts.
Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, addressing any customer concerns or issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Monitor competitor activity within key accounts and provide feedback to the sales team.
Track and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Prepare and present account reviews to senior management on a regular basis.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
5 years of experience in key account management or sales.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of the Montgomery County market and industries.
