What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Laborer position at Chesapeake Containment?
Chesapeake Containment Systems, Inc. is seeking a Facility Laborer to work at out facility in Statesville, NC. This position is expected to work on average 50 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Overtime is required. You must be able to pass a background and drug test.
Responsibilities:
- General shop, facility maintenance, and landscaping of grounds. Including, but not limited to mowing grass, mulching, replacing HVAC filters, replacing lights, and small repairs.
- Prepare shipments, load, and unload delivery trucks
- Maintain cleanliness of shop and grounds
- Equipment maintenance of grounds equipment and heavy equipment
- Operate forklift and skid steer to move materials around facility
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently, throughout an entire workday.
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to maintain safety standards
- Be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
