Requirements

· Ability to successfully treat a variety of patient conditions.

· Graduate from an APTA accredited LPTA program.

· Virginia licensure or eligible.

Chesterfield Physical Therapy

Responsibilities
- Provide patient care under the direction of a physical therapist, including assisting with exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques.
- Utilize knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to support treatment plans.
- Assist in acute care settings, applying trigger point therapy as needed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Demonstrate expertise in occupational health practices.
- Work with patients in hospital medicine, orthopedic, and geriatric settings.
- Utilize sub-acute care experience to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
