Responsibilities
As the Data Systems Manager, your role involves overseeing our corporate database systems and associated applications. You'll have the opportunity to identify operational needs and develop innovative solutions, creating valuable insights from raw data. Supervising our dedicated data systems support staff, you will manage projects and impart crucial training on data systems and report writing tools. Additionally, your responsibilities include performing key systems administration tasks and gaining expertise in tools like Microsoft SSRS and platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server. You will maintain management oversight of critical EMR systems, eClinicalWorks and Netsmart TIER, and other data systems, actively seeking opportunities to integrate these systems for seamless functionality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IS or related field plus 7 years’ experience in database administration and programming OR an equivalent combination of education and experience in database administration, programming, and report writing.
- Healthcare IT experience is strongly preferred. eClinicalWorks experience is also preferred.
- Senior-level technical background in:
- Administering and designing data systems
- Database programming
- Application programming and development
- Project coordination
- Business data analysis
- Report writing
- Prior supervisory and project management experience.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
