Research Analyst III (Remote Work Opportunity)

Overview

Chestnut Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Research Analyst III to join our esteemed Lighthouse Institute. As a Research Analyst III, you will play a crucial role in advancing our research initiatives, overseeing data management, conducting sophisticated analyses, and providing valuable insights to support evidence-based practices. This role requires expertise in statistics, research methodology, and data analysis, ensuring that our research efforts meet the highest standards of quality and rigor.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of data management, from setting up protocols to developing databases and continuously improving these processes. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting advanced data analyses, interpreting results, and providing guidance on statistical methodologies. Additionally, you will create and manage training materials, respond to data requests, and independently contribute to the creation of manuscripts, technical reports, and presentations. As a Research Analyst III, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring junior analysts, ensuring the highest standards of data quality, and contributing to the advancement of Chestnut Health Systems' research initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree is required, with five years of relevant experience in statistics and research methodology; alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree with eight years of relevant experience.
• Certification on either GAIN Data Management or GAIN Program Management and Evaluation within six months from the date of hire.
• Extensive experience in Microsoft Excel, statistical software, and Windows-based applications.
• Professional proficiency in writing and utilizing analytic methods, syntax, and/or code in SPSS, R, and/or Power BI for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis.
• Proven ability to mentor junior Research Analysts and provide training and technical assistance in analytic techniques and complex dataset utilization.
• Demonstrated experience in writing technical reports, manuscripts, and presentations.
