Full Time Dental Assistant

Excellent opportunity for a dental assistant who is energetic and likes to serve people, to be part of a team that focus on progress, always learning and working hard having fun at the same time.

We are looking for someone who has attended a dental assistant course and has at least 1 year experience. Someone confident that can assist the dentist but also work alone with patients, welcoming them, taking X-rays and scanning teeth digitally.

This person must have a team mind set and be goal oriented, have a desire to learn and progress. This is a growing office very organized and with modern equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients taking blood pressure, reviewing medical history, taking X-rays or Digital Scan.
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Provide oral hygiene instructions, post-operative care instructions, apply fluoride and fabricate temporary crowns.
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked.
• Write patient notes for dentist and hygienist.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Masks are mandatory. Every patient and team member is screened and temperature is checked. All mandatory PPE is provided. Air purifiers, aerosol vacuums and hypochlorous acid misters on every room. Every room is fogged after each patient.

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
• Dental Assistants: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• Spanish (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• X-Ray Certification (Required)
