Partner – Intellectual Property (antitrust economics) - competitive salary - Washington D.C, United States (hybrid)
We are working with a growing boutique economics consultancy specialising in antitrust and competition who are looking for an economist to join and lead its Intellectual Property practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and expand a network of clients while bringing on new cases within the IP, competition, and antitrust space
- Lead high-profile cases related to intellectual property disputes and competition law, focusing on providing expert economic analysis
- Manage complex, multi-jurisdictional cases involving international clients in the competition and IP sectors from inception to completion
As a Partner, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the client network and managing projects, overseeing teams of economists and analysts to ensure seamless service delivery across the IP sector. Contribute to the firm's growth by identifying market opportunities, driving business development, and influencing the company’s long-term strategic direction.
Eligibility Requirements
- MBA or Ph.D. in Economics
- Extensive experience handling IP-related and antitrust cases
- Proven track record in managing teams and leading large-scale projects
- A book of business valued at $1 million expected in the first year or a demonstrated ability to develop one
