About the Role
A Chicago Bears Content Producer creates high quality, compelling content for a variety of platforms. We are looking for a candidate who will help us capture the moments behind the Bears that unite fans and inspire communities. The position calls for a multi-faceted skill set including the ability to shoot, produce, and edit for various distribution channels. Candidates must be creative and detail-oriented, with an eye for developing dynamic content. This is a full-time position, based out of our headquarters – Halas Hall (1920 Football Drive, Lake Forest, Illinois). The hours for this role are non-traditional, including working home games, events, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Create engaging content from concept to completion, including, but not limited to: producing, shooting, editing and motion graphic treatments to the features
- Shoot, produce and edit content for social, digital, and broadcast platforms
- Generate and execute content ideas for social and digital channels that will generate audience interaction, conversation, and engagement while keeping up with social trends
- Line produce assigned broadcast shows, special programs, or related projects
- Shoot, log and edit game footage, locker room interviews & press conferences following games, weekly press conferences, post-practice locker room interviews
- Shoot, produce and edit daily content and features during Training Camp
- Work with Bears sales team on the creation and execution of sponsored content series across all platforms., including the generation of sales video content for use in recaps and pitches
- Support development of off-season video content concentrated around the following league calendar events: NFL Combine, Free Agency, NFL Draft, Rookie Minicamp, Organized team activities (OTAs), and Training Camp
- Keep YouTube account organized and up to date
- Publish radio podcasts (All Access, Coaches Show)
- Stream post-game (home and away) and weekly post-practice press conferences on ChicagoBears.com, App, and YouTube. Plus, Facebook and Twitter when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Television/Film Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or related area of study
- Expertise in social media content creation for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite and 3rd party plug ins (e.g., Sapphire, Boris, etc.)
- Strong knowledge and passion for football
- Knowledge of various video encoding and compression standards
- Experience shooting with cinema style cameras
- After Effects knowledge a plus
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment while juggling multiple and sometimes competing priorities. This includes the ability to produce multiple projects from inception to completion independently.
- Ability to take direction and constructive criticism
- Must be able to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to travel for road games and special shoots as necessary
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
- A true team player, who thrives on mentoring and teaching other team members technical and creative skills
