Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualified candidates must be able to satisfactorily complete the following responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.
- Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, desks, tables, lamps, doors and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and, or cleaning agents.
- Strip and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads & mattresses.
- Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges and shelves thoroughly.
- Push and pull the vacuum throughout the entire room, and empty trash.
- Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guestrooms.
- Sign for room keys.
- Retrieve Room Attendant cart, push to assigned rooms, and restock.
- Visually inspect the room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion of the room.
- Attend daily pre-shift meetings to discuss department announcements and operations.
- Return all items found in the hotel to Lost and Found.
- Respond in a timely manner to guest requests for items such as an iron, safety instructions, assistance, direction, and/or other information as requested.
- Report all suspicious persons, activities, or hazardous conditions to the Security Department.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Language Skills
- Knowledge of operations on the Hospitality Industry
- Must be able to stand in one place for extended periods of time, and to remain on feet for up to 8 hours.
- The individual should be a High School Graduate and/or any combination of experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and ability to effectively fulfill the requirements of this job description.
- Technologically sound with Microsoft Office applications.
