Coordinate and manage aspects for Chicago Sport and Social Club (CSSC) social events including event management, marketing, and promotions to maximize participation and success. Assist with the development of the CSSC social event schedule, execution, staff management, customer relations, and other tasks pertaining to the positive growth and improvement of Chicago Sport and Social Club (CSSC) events.

CSSC social events will be planned, marketed and managed by CSSC. CSSC Marketing and Events Managers lead on concepting and planning, venue booking, executing marketing plans, and manages the execution for CSSC events. Social Events may include CSSC themed events such as New Year’s Eve Parties, Halloween Parties, St. Patrick’s Day Parties, Trivia Events, Bloody Mary Fest, Volleywood, Six Pack, and sponsor driven events and promotions etc., and outings such as lakefront cruises, sports event outings, ski trips, etc.

  • Work with CSSC management to curate an event lineup to meet the interests of CSSC target audience of a diverse population of active adults.
  • Identify relevant events and assess potential for success.
  • Book event venues and secure all event details including sponsor entitlements.
  • Monitor expenses to ensure events stay within budget.
  • Responsible for managing promotions for events.
  • Responsible for assisting with developing comprehensive marketing plans for events.
  • Responsible for coordinating community-oriented promotions for events (ie. informational postings, promotional street marketing, partner marketing).
  • Facilitates on-site management of events.
  • Manage photo and video media development of events and post photos to CSSC Facebook page and other relevant channels.
  • Manage website event/marketing related website content and social media content (i.e. creating and updating all social events and programs, managing registration data for events, updating and keeping content fresh for all events).

PROMOTIONS/MARKETING

The CSSC Marketing and Events Manager will develop and execute a marketing plan designed to maximize sales for all Chicago Sport and Social Club events. The Marketing Plan will focus on social media and digital marketing strategies, grass roots promotional strategies, and other media and marketing channels to reach individual and group customers.

· Work with CSSC management to develop event marketing plans.

· Assistant with content creation and management of social channels including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Snap Chat, Twitter and LinkedIn for CSSC including updating content such as stories and posts to be fresh, relevant, and engaging; managing ad campaigns; and managing customer engagement.

· Assist in the development of extensive and useful corporate, alumni and association contact lists and strategies to get their people involved.

· Coordinate and manage promotions at CSSC leagues to focus event promotions.

· Assist in development of promotional and marketing materials with CSSC Creative Director for events.

LOCAL/BAR SPONSORSHIP FACILITATION

Assist with the development, and execution of local bar sponsorship program or CSSC leagues. Work with management to develop opportunities for potential sponsors.

· Generate leads on potential partnerships, sponsorships or revenue generating opportunities for CSSC with local bars/restaurants/venues for league related and event related programs.

· Prepare customized presentations outlining programs for potential bar sponsors/partners.

· Organize, maintain and properly distribute sponsorship promotional materials including but not limited to logos, banners, table-tents, coupons, displays and other promotional materials.

· Assist in the communication to local CSSC staff all bar sponsorship obligations. (i.e. league announcement sheet, email or staff meetings)

· Ensure that proper materials are at all leagues and events including signage, promotional cards, and any other sponsor bar related materials.

· Ensure banners and other sponsor materials are clean and presentable for leagues and events.

· Ensure proper announcements are made at leagues and events by all full-time and part-time employees pertaining to events, promotions, and sponsorship.

  • Willingness to work weekends and evenings when applicable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49,552.32 - $59,675.91 per year
