At Chick-fil-A, Assistant Managers are responsible for assisting the management team in all aspects of shift management and ensuring that each restaurant guest has an outstanding experience. Assistant Managers are responsible for supervising assigned stations for an entire shift and may be assigned to open or close the restaurant, following established opening and closing procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that Team Members follow recipes and read tickets to accurately prepare all orders.
  • Ensure that Team Members are extremely accurate with weights and measurements for all

recipe items.

  • Ensure that Team Members work at a pace to maintain restaurant’s established speed of service

guidelines.

  • Ensure that workstations are clean at all times.
  • Ensure that Team Members follow all food safety standards and procedures at all times.
  • Ensure that cashiers follow cash handling procedures at all times.
  • Execute proper security and cash handling and control procedures and hold cashiers accountable

to adhering to policies and procedures.

  • Ensure that Team Members monitor dining room, restroom, parking lot and overall facility

cleanliness.

  • Perform any of the tasks above as needed throughout each shift.
  • Address guest issues that may arise; consults with management regarding complex issues.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship and treat all employees with respect and dignity while

providing direction and feedback.

  • Communicate employee performance and policy/procedure violations to management for

appropriate handling.

  • Strictly adhere to all Company policies and procedures.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous management experience a plus.
  • Achieve operational objectives.
  • Accomplish human resource objectives.
  • Perform facility opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain the flow of satisfied guests.
  • Work to create a safe, secure and healthy work environment for fellow employees.
  • Work with staff to accomplish all goals.
  • You will be required to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, with excellent communication skills.
  • You must have the ability to take initiative and possess skills for problem solving and conflict resolution.
  • You also must be efficient and detail-oriented with a strong customer focus.
