What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director ,Front of the House position at Chick-fil-A?

Location : Mall at chesterfield Towne center

Availability ( Full time only, 40 hours , including Fridays and Saturdays)

Pay : $18-19/Hr

The Assistant Director Front of the House is responsible for day-to-day operations in the restaurant. Individuals in this role are responsible for leading execution of operational strategies in alignment with the restaurant vision, People development, Monitoring the quality and customer experience and the positive representation of the brand. The leader must train and develop Team members, coaches, Shift leaders and Team Leader that uphold the values and culture of caring, operational excellence and Training

Role responsibilities:

  • Communicates Operator vision and goals and ensures the team feels valuable in achieving our local purposes
  • Cross trained & Certified in Both FOH/BOH Area
  • Serves the team and guests in position during peak time; observes and assesses the entire operation to provide support and feedback toward sustained improvement.

  • Upholds restaurant cleanliness and safety
  • Creates plans to achieve top-down goals as well as daily plans to ensure operational Excellence

  • Responsible for Coaching and Training: Team Members , Coaches and Shift Leaders
  • Coaches resource and tool alignment
  • Leverages Development plans to develop others
  • Anticipates and solves capacity problems, i.e. throughput, staffing, etc. - Anticipates communication breakdowns
  • Anticipates cash flow and management issues
  • Anticipates restaurant flow of information
  • Analyzes: Business Results
  • Analyzes and utilizes customer metrics
  • Analyzes daily and weekly data
  • Analyzes monthly data
  • Analyzes and utilizes reporting with direct reports
  • Allocates and delegates daily, weekly, monthly tasks
  • Allocates weekly personnel resources and staff with in the allocated budget (
  • Collaborates with shift leaders on Daily setup and weekly goals
  • Scheduling - Ensure the business needs are met. Utilizes Scheduling best practices
  • Inventory -Ensures the right products are in the right place through ordering, preparing and following system procedures.
  • Training Systems & Tracking - Equips team members with the right knowledge and the right skills.
  • Standards - Follows the right systems and standards and continuously improves upon .
  • Ensures the ordering is submitted of all warehouse parts
  • Ensures and Maintains the completion of daily,weekly and monthly cleaning and upkeep of all equipment in the restaurant
  • Ensures Safety procedures in the restaurant at all times
