Door Greeter
Department: Security | Reports To: Security Manager
Status: Non-Exempt
Pay Grade: Hourly | Full-Time/Part-Time
Summary:
The Greeter will help provide safety and oversight for the Casino parking lot and surrounding area. Responsibilities also include directing and coordinating the operational needs and promote Guest Service best practices at entry points around the Casino and at events.
Tasks:
- Meets and greets Guests entering and exiting the Casino or at events or other gaming activities as assigned.
- Ability to have a positive interaction with all Guests and welcome back regular Guests by name.
- Prospects Guests for Players Club membership, explaining current promotions/offers (value-based selling) while providing directions to all Guests as needed.
- Informs out of town Guests of nearby attractions and amenities in order to enhance their local experience.
- Fields Guest complaints, finding the appropriate Manager for resolution.
- Keeps all carpets, glass and outside doors clean and free from trash in addition to sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Help Guests with temperature scans, hand sanitizing and providing masks as needed upon entry.
- Understands and complies with all company and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Calling for cart pick-ups for disabled Guests when handicap parking is full.
- Performs other assigned tasks and duties as required.
Experience, Qualifications and Education:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
Working Conditions:
- Long periods of sitting, standing and/or walking in a smoke environment.
