Job Summary:
The Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper functioning of kitchen exhaust systems in commercial establishments. They are responsible for removing grease, oil, and other debris from exhaust hoods, ducts, fans, and filters. The Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Worker plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment in commercial kitchens by minimizing fire hazards and promoting proper ventilation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform kitchen exhaust system cleaning according to industry standards, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
Remove grease, oil, and other accumulated debris from exhaust hoods, ducts, fans, and filters using specialized tools and equipment.
Disassemble and reassemble exhaust system components, such as filters, access panels, and fans, as needed for thorough cleaning.
Utilize cleaning agents, solvents, and chemicals to dissolve and remove grease buildup from various surfaces while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Conduct inspections of exhaust systems to identify potential issues or maintenance needs, and report findings to the supervisor or maintenance team.
Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, including dates, locations, and services performed, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members and other staff to coordinate cleaning schedules, prioritize tasks, and ensure efficient completion of work.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns, answering questions, and always maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to kitchen exhaust cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety measures.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
