Job Description:
Covid Vaccination is required.
Effectively provides quality customer service to clients via phone, email, and in person.
Works in close collaboration with therapists and supervisors.
Performs reception duties including answering phones, completing client intakes, scheduling appointments.
Collects payments.
Handles health insurance verification and pre-certification/authorization.
Provides administrative support.
Utilize practice management software to identify outstanding accounts.
Process ERAs.
Correct claims errors and rejections and resubmit to insurance.
Investigate all unpaid claims to determine resolution of same.
Generate bills and invoices specific to client accounts.
Answer questions/complaints from clients regarding billing.
Send delinquent accounts to collections.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required.
Stable work history required. Preferred areas include: Behavioral/Medical Office Experience, Customer Service.
Working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, Electronic Health Records, or equivalent PC applications required.
Ability to communicate professionally with clients.
Ability to collaborate and support team members.
Ability to work independently.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain strictest confidentiality.
