Position Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Early Childhood Education, Public Administration, Business Management or a closely related field with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a management position overseeing program operations, personnel, performance and workflow OR a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a Child Care Services leadership position will be considered in lieu of education.
- Three of the seven years must have been in a management/supervisory position preferably in a multi-million dollar program.
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent demonstrated organizational, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, parents and external vendors with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Must be able to perform primary duties consisting of planning, funds management, organization, and directing the work of a large organization.
- Access to reliable insured transportation.

Responsibilities:
- Directs Child Care Services (CCS) operations towards the fulfillment of the CCS contract.
- Functions independently as a “can-do” manager of a large division and connects cohesively with the Child Care Associates/Curantis management team, leadership and organizational values and vision.
- Serves as a Liaison between Curantis and the Local Workforce Development Board, including attending monthly management team meetings.
- Supervises, directs and operates all CCS functions including program support and program services.
- Manages the budget and expenses of CCS.
- Guides CCS policies and procedures, program development and evaluation with CCA.
- Directly supervises CCS managers and key staff.
- Collaborates and coordinates between CCS departments.
- Serves as a major community collaborator in early learning and related workforce issues and remains abreast of key policy issues statewide.
- Coordinates the hiring and evaluation of all CCS staff.
- Attends conferences and conducts training, including those out of town.
- Develops systems, structures and a work culture that support continuous learning and the use of data in making sound decisions.
- Other related duties as assigned.
