Malcolm X College is currently seeking adjunct instructors to teach Child Development. If you have passion for teaching and learning and are committed to the mission of the community college, consider joining our team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in the classroom by developing and using effective teaching strategies that meet students’ diverse needs and engage the students in critical thinking and problem-solving. They will also have a passion for teaching and learning along with a strong commitment to the missions and ideals of the community college.
The mission of the Malcolm X College Child Development Program is to prepare students of diverse backgrounds and abilities with the knowledge and practical experience necessary to foster developmentally appropriate experiences for young children. The Child Development Program has adopted the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) associate degree standards. These standards are the foundation our curriculum and the core of our accountability, ensuring the program meets its objectives and students achieve their learning outcomes. The Child Development Program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC); it is the premier accrediting and advocacy organization for early childhood education programs and teachers.
