CDCW in Glen Allen, VA is seeking friendly, energetic, and responsible swim instructors and lifeguards. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has a passion for swimming, and enjoys working with children. Opportunity for growth!!
You would need to complete a swim instructor‘s course prior to starting (CDCW would pay for the course).
Could turn into a stable year-round job with career & growth opportunity!!
Responsibilities and Duties
- Swim instruction for preschool and school age children (3-12years old)
- Deliver learning progression in a safe and fun environment
- Safely guard and enforce all pool safety rules (Lifeguard)
- Commit to the assigned work shifts or schedules
- Timely recognize & respond to emergencies with care as trained
Qualifications and Skills
- Attention to detail and awareness of pool safety
- Competitive swim experience (preferred not required)
- Swim Instruction Experience (preferred not required)
- Lifeguard experience with active Lifeguard Certification (preferred not required)
- Must be 16 years or older and fluent in English
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
