Job Description: IPV-FAIR Clinician

Location: Willimantic, CT

Job Summary

FT (40 hour) position to work in our Intimate Partner Violence (IPV-FAIR) programs based out of Willimantic. The Master's level clinician will work with families referred by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) in the office, community, and their homes to provide an intensive clinical model to families impacted by intimate partner violence. Clinician will lead a multi-disciplinary team, consisting of the client, DCF worker/supervisor, CFA supervisor, teammates, and other providers, to work towards stabilizing the placement and working towards achieving agreed upon treatment plan. Staff will receive extensive training including the Father's for Change evidence-based practice (IPV-FAIR), Circle of Security, and Risking Connection.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in a clinical field and be willing to travel, transport clients in their vehicle, and work some evening/weekend hours. Additional compensation for weekend hours, mileage, AAA, and business rider on insurance.
Requirements of the Mental Health Clinician
  • Master's Degree in Social Service or related field (MSW, Marriage & Family Counseling, MA in Counseling, Psychology, etc.
  • Mental Health / Counseling Experience (clinical internship)
  • Must be a licensed mental health counselor (LMSW, PCa, MFTa, LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
