Job Summary:
The Clinician provides high quality therapeutic counseling services to clients and their families in close collaboration with Crawford Early Learning Center staff and partners. This role is tied to contract with between Child Guidance Center and a third party.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Delivers the highest standard of clinical treatment to clients and their families and ensures that professional standards of conduct prevail
- Diagnoses client symptoms according to the current DSM/ICD and develops and implements appropriate treatment.
- Ensures that the highest standards of ethical fiscal practices are followed and that professional standards of conduct prevail
- Completes all administrative responsibilities willingly and competently
- Assists in meeting the agency’s annual budgetary goal by meeting or exceeding performance standards
- Immediately reports any real or suspected child abuse or neglect, as defined in FL Statutes, Section 415.504, to FL Department of Children and Families via the FL Protective Services System
- Completes BBHS’s for non-licensed staff as assigned by the LCS/Director
- Quality therapeutic services to a full caseload of clients, meeting or exceeding program productivity, billing and administrative standards:
- No one on 60 Days List.
- No expired Treatment Plans.
- Meets billable requirements as set by the Crawford Early Learning Center
- Develops and completes intake forms, psychosocial evaluations, treatment plans and progress notes within the required timeframe in the Electronic Health Record
- Complies with agency policies and procedures, Crawford Early Learning Center, team requirements and Medicaid standards
- Collaborates with the family and/or individual family members to develop plans to positively manage and respond to issues
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Must have the ability to provide sound clinical practices, including diagnosing according to current DSM
- Must have demonstrated skills in utilizing an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system efficiently
- Must have demonstrated cultural sensitivity and understanding
- Must have the ability to observe, analyze and monitor situations to ensure client safety and to make sound decisions
- Understanding the outpatient program and modalities used in treatment
- Ability to build constructive working relationships with clients, co-workers, other agencies, clinic staff and community partners
- Ability to maintain the highest level of client confidentiality
- Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
- Able and willing to accept clinical supervision and professional critique
- Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrating good written, oral and listen skills
- Demonstrated ethical and professional conduct in the performance of all position functions, free of fraud, abuse and conflict of interest
- Demonstrates wide range of interventions and skills to effectively work with a wide range of client ages, families in a community clinic setting
- Demonstrates wide range of understanding of populations that are housing insecure
- Adapting to changes in assignments, priorities and new job information
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full- time exempt position. Typical days and hours of the week are Monday-Friday between 8:30am – 6:00pm. Hours may vary depending on agency/special project needs

Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A current FL LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT is required.
- Completed Trauma Training
- Infant Mental Health Training
Preferred Education and Experience:
- At least two-years experience providing therapeutic services to children and families and developing treatment plans based on current DSM diagnoses
- Training in IMH evidenced based interventions such as Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Circle of Security or other evidenced based interventions.
