Dental Assistant

Pay rate: $17.00- $19.00/ hour based on experience

Children's Dental Health is seeking a passionate Dental Assistant in our Trexlertown & Bethlehem, PA locations to join our team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients.

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients feel comfortable and receive the highest quality dental care possible. You will assist the dentist during procedures, prepare and sterilize instruments, take X-rays, maintain patient records, and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal assistant for our team has a calm disposition and a talent for building rapport with young patients, who may be scared or anxious.

Schedule: Monday & Wednesday 7:45am-6:00pm. Tuesday & Thursday 7:45am-6:00pm.

What You Will Do:

• Take and develop diagnostic images
• RHS certification
• Support the Drs. and patients through a wide range of restorative procedures
• Chart and take notes in the Dentrix system
• Work in a team oriented enviornment - We have staff designated to Front Desk support as well as Sterilization Technicians

What You Will Need:

• Has a basic knowledge of Orthodontics, Restorative, and Hygiene
• Must maintain Dental Assisting License in good standing and complete the CE Credits required by state
• Dental office experience preferred

Requirements:

• At least one (1) year of experience as a Dental Assistant OR completion of a Dental Assisting program
• Radiology Certification (or ability to obtain within six months of hire)
• CPR Certification
• Demonstrated desire to work with children in a pediatric setting
