About the Job
Independently performs the functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab . Utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care. Also works in collaboration with other health care professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care to meet the patient/family needs.
Shift:
10-hour shift 6:45am - 17:50 (Monday - Friday)
Highlighted Responsibilities
Experience: 2 years’ RN experience in cardiac Cath lab or critical care
Education: BSN
Credentials: TX RN License & BLS

Highlighted Responsibilities
- Prepares Cath Lab by checking all equipment
- Sets up cath table with appropriate equipment and supplies (electrodes/suction/ restraints)
- Pre-procedure patient assessments
- Patient education
- Assists with patient monitoring and induction of anesthesia
- Flushes transducers, tubing, sheaths, dilators, and catheters
- Assists cardiologist with procedures
Experience: 2 years’ RN experience in cardiac Cath lab or critical care
Education: BSN
Credentials: TX RN License & BLS
