The Children's Home is looking for a dependable Family Engagement Coordinator for our Residential Program!!
Job Summary: The Family Engagement Coordinator is a critical member of the residential hard to place dorms. The Family Engagement Coordinator handles many details of the cases and frees up the social worker to focus on therapy and groups. The Family Engagement Coordinator is responsible for developing the after care plan starting with the youth’s placement on the dorm.

Qualifications:
Relevant Knowledge & Essential Skills: The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work effectively with clients, families, staff, and community contacts with a diversity of backgrounds and life situations. The Family Engagement Coordinator must be able to participate in the principles and practices of the inter-disciplinary team approach. The Family Engagement Coordinator must possess an understanding of and sensitivity to serving culturally diverse and special needs population. Excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving and organizational skills required. Must be able to write reports/case notes. Must be able to use laptop/desktop computers for consistent documentation into assigned youth electronic heath record (EHR) charts.
